Wellness Approach
- Situated in its own secluded garden, the Finisterra Spa is a haven for relaxation and wellbeing. Opened in July 2010, this small and personal spa yields results making you look and feel rejuvenated. Escape to a meditative environment where the mood is tranquillity and warmth from the six treatment rooms wrapped in natural timber to the sensual blend of aromatic oils, perfumes, spices, and exotic herbs infused throughout the vaulted ceilings. Indulge yourself from a choice of treatments designed to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Freestyle Spa
- Wet area with a sauna and steam bath as well as a relaxation area and interior garden
Signature Treatment
Finisterra Infante This treatment by VOYA has a very relaxing and calming effect, starting with a body lavender scrub followed by a seaweed wrap and finally, a herbal compress of chamomile.
We Love
- India Vasco da Gama is a real warm aromatic treat. Sensual and intense, the process is ideal for re-mineralising the body and releasing muscular tension. This is done with heated red jasper and semi-precious stones, aromatic oils of cinnamon and rose and precious minerals such as silica to stimulate your body and skin and encourage regeneration. Bliss.
- Japanese seaweed treatment makes use of the wonderful benefits of the sea. The entire treatment involves being wrapped in giant seaweed from head to toe, not unlike a real sushi! You'll feel delicious.
Return on Investment
Energised and Toned.
Holiday reviews and comments
By Helen MMG
Loved the location of Martinhal; just a short walk to the sandy dunes and the sea (heaven). I was really impressed by the professionalism of the spa staff and the quality of the treatments. For me, being on holiday is about getting outside too though, so the combination of trying new sports (with supervision!)out in the fresh air, was perfect. There were families with small children around the pool (I have to say they were very well-behaved) and, given the open feeling of space, being in a family-friendly resort as a single person wasn't an issue. I'd definitely recommend giving kayaking a go, as well as the bike ride; my guide knew so much about the area. I also loved the layout of the main lounge area - it gave me design ideas for my own living room!
