Holiday insider tips
Wellness Approach
- It is said that the curative effects of these springs were first discovered by Roman legions. That same curative effect is still enjoyed today with the use of local thermal mud and sulphourous water in treatments precribed by the Spa Doctor. Despite strong medical and rehabilition bias, the spa is also good for those looking for prevention and relaxation. Put yourself in the hands of expert physicians and see how that nagging ache/twinge is eased with a bit of mud and water.
Freestyle Spa
- Water and Sauna World allow you to bathe in interconnected indoor and outdoor thermal pools where the water is a soothing 34oC, and jacuzzi, massage jets, water deckchairs help unwind tight muscles. At Sauna World you will find infra sauna, steam bath, Finnish sauna and cold plunge pool.
Signature Treatment
Mud Pool The beautifully restored domed building with mosaic walls and stained glass ceiling windows houses the world renowned Piestany Mud Pool that uniquely combines thermal mineral mud with thermal water. The mineral mud sinks to the bottom of the pool and the temperature of the water is around 38oC. You may feel like a hippo wallowing with the mud between your toes but you will come out so relaxed you won't care.
We Love
- The Salt Cave, built from natural salt from the Red, Dead and Black Seas, re-creates an intensive microclimate, similar to that of a seaside. The high concentration of the salt microparticles enriched with iodine, potassium, calcium, iron and other elements are inhalled and help with blood flow to all the major organs and general circulation. Tests have shown that a 45 minute treatment in the cave equates in benefit to 3 days by the sea.
- The traditional purity of the treatments - separate pools for men and women as thermal water treatments are taken in the nude in order to allow you to maximise the absorption of minerals and not sweat in synthetic swim suits.
Return on Investment
Calmed and Refreshed.
