Ekies All Senses Resort Details

Location

A very chilled and stylish boutique hotel located on a bay and surrounded by a nature reserve abundant with pine forests in the underdeveloped area of Sithonia in Halkidiki (Northern Greece). The small but almost private beach is pristine clean with white sand and the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean.

Accommodation

There are 65 rooms located in three buildings, each designed by a different architect.  No two rooms are the same as each has a unique feature.  The décor is chic, minimalist with some rooms having a Balinese feel.  Rooms range from the lead in Standard rooms to the Luxury Suites.  We recommend the loft rooms which have lovely views and their own sitting rooms.

Food

Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served at the Katouli Restaurant which overlooks the sea and serves healthy Greek cuisine freshly prepared.  There is always a daily Greek speciality of the kitchen to try and a fresh “catch of the day” fish dish in addition to the healthy salads and authentic Greek meze.  The hotel is famous in the region for its mojito cocktails where the freshly picked mint from the herb garden is used.  If you are keeping off the alcohol they will make you one without the rum!

Fitness and Daily Activities

In keeping with the laid back atmosphere at Ekies, you won’t find organized classes and activities but there are a number of pastimes to help keep you stay active; take the resort bikes and explore the area, go hiking in the nature reserve, or go snorkeling.

• Ask the hotel staff about taking you by boat to the uninhabited island nearby with a packed lunch where you can spend the day on the stunning deserted beaches.

• Visits can be arranged to the local honey farms where you can buy organic honey to take home.
