The resort is 20 minutes from the airport and there is a private beach club within walking distance from the dramatic sand dunes of Maspalomas beach which you can get to in 15 minutes by the free shuttle bus provided by the hotel. The resort has been carefully designed with 7 pools so that you don't have to worry about getting a good position around the pool.

Insider Tips
- The therapists at the spa are excellent but cultural differences mean that many are men. Please let us know if you would prefer a female therapist
- Visit the amazing sand dunes at Maspalomas beach reachable by the resorts shuttle bus
- Single travellers will feel very welcome here as they have a sharing table every evening in the restaurant for those who don't want to dine alone
Holiday insider tips
Wellness Approach
- A chic spa featuring ESPA treatments amongst others. A range of body treatments, facials and massages are available. Aptly named the Aloe Spa because of the abundant Aloe plants on the property that are used for treatments.
Freestyle Spa
- A Finnish sauna, a bio sauna (more humid), steam room, ice grotto, jacuzzi. A beautiful outdoor spa vitality pool Heated (in winter) with bubbling seats and hydromassage. Sun loungers around the vitality pool for relaxation as well as inside the spa.
Signature Treatment
Aloe Spa Body Treatment. Fresh aloe vera pulp made from local aloe plants is spread over your body. You are then wrapped with soft linen while the aloe takes effect and you are given a relaxing head massage.
We Love
- The outdoor Vitality pool where you can spend your day before or after your treatment - it is so stylish and very quiet and relaxing!

Hotel – design, room and spaces, and location were amazing. Very much my taste. Modernist and striking, and very spacious. I loved my room, and the bathroom was fantastic with the window into the room and through the outside window. Nice balconies with daybeds. The views were amazing and the countryside was nicer than I thought it would. The golf course is very attractively blended into the hills.
Spa – good modern design – the pool in particular was stunning and I spent my days by that, very peaceful, and away from the kids at the other pools (there were lots of kids, families and couples, because it was Easter). The spa thermal circuit was much smaller than it sounds in the literature. Was basically 2 x identically sized saunas, couple of ok pressure showers, a not very hot steam room, and a indoor jet/Jacuzzi pool which was ok. The best thing about the pool was the pool and the treatments. They did something I have never seen at other spas, which was to give you the same therapist every day. The guy, called Daniel, was absolutely brilliant. I changed my treatments easily from the package ones, and I had a salt scrub, thai reflexology (amazing), full body massage and thai massage. He had trained in Thailand for 1 year and was consistently good. All the treatments were really effective and I felt great afterwards. The products he used were also excellent.
Food – it was fine, but not as good as other spa hotels like Grotto Guisti and Vilalara. I ate in the buffet restaurant a few times. The staff there were harassed and service patchy. The only place you could get lunch was the 7th floor restaurant (Sheraton policy doesn’t allow food in the spa). The menu was limited, and not many healthy things and food I did have wasn’t great. When I ate in their smart restaurant, I did have a fantastic meal one night, but when I ordered it again the next night, it was presented and done in a completely different way. The chefs were obviously different but there should have been consistency.
I think overall the food and service suffered because it was such a big hotel, and busy. The room, design, spaces and location were fantastic though. They had invested in great, innovative architecture and design and that was great to experience, at that level.
I came back very relaxed and revitalized, and with a sun tan, so I’m really pleased that I went there. The proximity to the UK and the weather means I may go there again in the future.
The service from Wellbeing Escapes was absolutely brilliant, from the tailor made proposals for various places from Sally, to the actual booking with Victoria. I will definitely come to you again for future spa holiday bookings.

The hotel, location and climate was exactly what I was looking for. From getting picked up at the airport until the end of my break, the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate and somewhat larger than I had expected. The pools and sunset bar were fantastic. The food was excellent and the spa was great (despite not being able to provide me with one of the treatments offered, they offered me a choice of two other alternatives to take instead). All in all, I thought the hotel was very good
