WHEN TO GO Unsurprisingly, India’s monsoon season of June to October is considered most definitely out of season. However, the balmy, dust-free weather of those months is, according to the experts, the best time to experience Ayurveda, as the body’s pore are more receptive to the restorative, therapeutic powers of herbal oils. Heading to the high altitude of the Himalayas will save you from the worst of the downpours, as will travelling at the end of the monsoon season.
