Ayurveda: Ayurveda or Ayurvedic medicine is a form of alternative medicine. The word "Ayurveda" is a compound of āyus "life" and veda "knowledge", and would roughly translate as the "Science of Life". Ayurveda promotes healthy living, along with therapeutic measures that relate to physical, mental, social and spiritual harmony.

Dolce Vita Massage: The treatments includes: a Relaxing Aromatic Massage and Special Hot Towel massage. The basisc massage is conducted with steady, gentle stroking movements, the primary goal of which is to relax the muscles. This is continued afterwards with a hot towl massage on the neck, shoulders, upper arm and the entire back, resulting in a feeling of thorough and total relaxation.
Dosha: The 3 main doshas (sometimes translated into English as humours) are: Vata (combination of the space and air elements), Pitta (analogous to the fire element), and Kapha (combination of water and earth elements). However there is no equivalent word to translate "Dosha" in the English language, because the concept of Humour is different to the concept of 'Ayurvedic Tridosha'.
Dry Brush Massage: This massage uses stroking techniques applied in a special way with a brush of half bristles. It helps increase blood circulation in the skin and remove the dead skin cells from the upper skin layer, making the skin surface smoother and more receptive in preparation for certain nourishing skin packs. It is is suitable for detoxification adn cellulite treatments owing to its effect as a metabolism stimulator.
Dry carbon gas bath: This treatment is applied either to the whole body or to extremities. Carbon dioxide is moistured with sweat within the closed space of a plastic sack, with heat generated inside.

Full body or parital mud pack: Mud application temperature is approximately 45°C, duration of partial or total wrap is 20 minutes.

Hatha Yoga: Hatha represents opposing energies: hot and cold (fire and water, following the same concept as the yin-yang), male and female, positive and negative. Hatha yoga attempts to balance mind and body via physical exercises, or "asanas", controlled breathing, and the calming of the mind through relaxation and meditation. Asanas teach poise, balance & strength and are practiced to improve the body's physical health and clear the mind in preparation for meditation in the pursuit of enlightenment.

Kneipp: The Kneipp treatment is named after Sebastian Kneipp, a German priest who lived in the 19th century. Recovering from an illness he treated with water and herbs, he developed the theoretical and practical fundamentals of his cure. The cure is effective for the treatment of sleep disorders, exhaustion, certain heart conditions, strengthening the vascular and immune systems, but also effective in stress reduction. Kneipp treatments include pouring cold and warm water and jets of water on the body, as well as packing, washing down, wrapping in herb infusions and aroma baths.

Mineral/Thermal Bath: Sulphids from the mineral water are absorbed through the skin, which results in deposits of sulphur in the skin. It is further absorbed into the body as cysteine, methionine or gluthation. The sulphur inhibits the degradation of elastine, collagen and hyaluronane, thus reducing blood pressure, and causing the dilatation of blood vessels. The bath has a total relaxation and tranquillising effect.
Mirror Bath: The pool is filled with natural sulphuric thermal mineral water with a temperature of 38°-39°C, where the guest is submerged up to his/her arms. The mirror pools have a distinctive meditative quality to them which promote physical healing as well as mental relaxation.

Guests in the mud pool stand, slowly walk or sit on the edge of the pool. The duration of the bath is strictly individual, on average it lasts 5 - 10 minutes.
